The Rivers We Fish

Conveniently located in central Nova Scotia, The Mersey produces some of the best Brook Trout fishing in SW Nova, If your a dry fly fisherman, this river is your Scotian Valhalla.

Located within a 30 min drive from Yarmouth, The Tusket has very diverse fishery, Small Mouth Bass on the lower end and Wild Native Brook Trout on the upper which includes a Trout Unlimited project site... These fish are picky, but once you hook up, your in for one heck of a ride.

The closest river we fish from Halifax at a 30 min drive from downtown Halifax.. so its ok to let the wife and kids go shopping while you go catch a tide to chase monsters. The Stewiacke is the premier Striper fishery in Nova Scotia, with such a short season, timing is everything, but when its on..its on! Unlike our New England brethren who are used to fishing off of rocks and jettys.. be ready to be fishing from the boat or the bank in the middle of expansive farmland..its a truly unique experience.

A quick 2.5 hour drive from Halifax brings you to the quiet little brothers to the Margaree. An excellent fall Atlantic Salmon fishery, with its easy access and friendly locals these rivers are a must do if you want to chase Atlantics in the fall.

Dust off your spey rods and head to the super bowl of rivers in Nova Scotia, located on the western end of Cape Breton Island, the river runs through farmlands and foothills, making it absolutely stunning in the fall. The Margaree is definitely a bucket list river.
